Queen Miss C | Empowering Elkhart, Indiana Boudoir Session

This lovely human is one of my favorite people. She is kind, loving, sassy, fun, basically a freaking Queen! I am so proud of all she has conquered over the last few months. The largest climbs have the best views girl. You are a powerful force, don’t forget that.

This was Miss C’s second photoshoot in the studio. We always work hard to make each boudoir photo session unique and I think we succeeded. It helps that this queen is always up for some fun lingerie and whatever else my ADHD brain comes up with. This boudoir session included an angel wing set. Of course me and my daughter, spent hours glueing fluff to a white backdrop to create a fun cloud, lightening set. The things we do for art.

Many women who walk through the studio doors have faced some pretty heavy stuff. Some times life feels like it is beating us down and it can feel impossible to get up. Miss C has walked a rough road over the last year and desperately needed a confidence boost. Cue boudoir! When ya know, ya know!

Being her second shoot Miss C knew the power of boudoir. It’s empowering to conquer your fears and love yourself in a new way. Miss C said, “Seriously though, I never thought I could do something like a boudoir shoot before. I had to learn how to get out of my comfort zone and try things that may scare me. They may just be a bomb ass experience. Plus I gained such an amazing friendship out of it.”

I asked Miss C what her shoots did for her self image, “You walk out feeling like a whole different woman and a huge smile on your face. It truly does helps you see your own beauty that you might not have before. You start viewing yourself in a completely different way.”

If you know Miss C, then you know she is always there with an encouraging word and a hug. Her message to all women is, “Just be YOU! You’re beautiful! You’re perfect the way you are! You are the only you there is, so just take a deep breath and have fun being yourself. And…book the darn session. You seriously won’t regret it. The only thing you’ll regret is that you didn’t do it sooner. I promise you, you will love every second of it.”
